Hannover Messe 2026

At Hannover Messe 2026, the Fraunhofer Cluster of Excellence Cognitive Internet Technologies CCIT presents practical solutions for the sovereign use of industrial data. The focus is on secure data spaces, data usage control as well as edge and cloud architectures for industrial manufacturing.

Together with technology partner German Edge Cloud, Fraunhofer CCIT demonstrates at Booth A16 in Hall 16 how production data can be used economically – from retrofitting existing systems to integration into industrial data ecosystems such as Catena-X and Factory-X. 

Hannover Messe 2026 takes place from April 20 to 24 and is the world’s most important industrial trade fair for companies from mechanical engineering, the electrical and digital industries, and the energy sector.

EMO 2025

EMO Hannover 2025 is the highlight for the metalworking industry, where the latest technologies, smart manufacturing, sustainability and digital transformation will take center stage in line with the theme “Innovate Manufacturing.” The Fraunhofer Cluster of Excellence Cognitive Internet Technologies CCIT and its member institutes Fraunhofer IWU, Fraunhofer IAIS, Fraunhofer IMS and Fraunhofer IIS will be presenting numerous exhibits from their research focus area edge cloud continuum at stand B18 in hall 6.

EMO Hannover will take place in Hanover, Germany, from September 22 to 26, 2025, and is the world's leading trade fair for metalworking and production technology.

Hannover Messe 2025

At the Hannover Messe 2025, on Booth B24 in Hall 2, Fraunhofer is presenting its comprehensive portfolio of research and applications, which gives companies the vital impetus to take on a variety of challenges and develop new solutions and innovations.

Under the tagline “Innovations for Our Future,” a total of 13 research units, including the Fraunhofer Cluster of Excellence Cognitive Internet Technologies CCIT, are displaying around 38 exhibits from the applied research in the fields of energy and the circular economy, AI for industrial innovations, and smart systems and materials efficiency on a booth covering an area of 500 square meters.

The central focus of research at the Fraunhofer CCIT is the edge-cloud continuum, which the research unit will be presenting in the context of AI for industrial innovations.

The Hannover Messe takes place from March 31 to April 4, 2025, and is the world’s leading industrial trade fair for companies from the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and digital industries as well as the energy sector.
